Timberwolves Instrumental Music Boosters, or TIMB as we call ourselves, was born with Northwood High School in 1999. A group of dedicated parents gather to ensure that arts education in the form of instrumental music performance and instruction would thrive at NHS. Three years later, TIMB filed for Tax-Exempt Organization Status and was granted an IRS 501c exemption. Since our humble beginnings, we have raised thousands of dollars to pay for instruments, uniforms, concerts, and festivals. In 2004, the hard work of our students, teachers, administrators and volunteers was rewarded with the designation of Grammy Gold School...recognizing us as one of the top seven secondary music programs in the country. Having come so far, we still have many goals for the future, including a concert at Carnegie Hall. Please join in our efforts to support arts education for all the students at NHS.
