What is a Call Time?
The time that you need to be on location ready to receive direction. Arrive before this time so that you are ready to go.

Will my student be fed at the football games?
Each student will receive a small meal and one bottle of water after the halftime show. We advise you to feed your student prior to dropping off at Northwood.

Will my student be allowed to eat while in uniform?
Your student will ONLY be allowed to eat the meal that is provided to them. The uniforms are cleaned once per season only so we MUST keep them as clean as possible for as long as possible. There is to be NO eating of any foods other than what is provided by the TIMB boosters.

Does my student need to attend every football game?
Your student will be required to attend all home games and away games at Irvine Stadium. If your student is unable to attend any of these games, contact Mr. Case at bcase@iusd.org as soon as possible.

May I take my student directly home from the football game?
Your student must return on the buses to Northwood High School where they will be able to be picked up. If your student will need to leave without returning on the bus, please contact Mr. Case so arrangements can be made.

Do parents go to the football games?
Yes! Students love knowing they have someone watching them. There are also opportunities to help at each game. Parents sit in the stands next to the band.

Does the band perform in other venues besides football games?
The band will perform at field show competitions on various occasions. Band Spectacular will also showcase all Irvine bands including Northwood High School.

As a parent, how can I get involved in the success of the band?
There are multiple opportunities including preparing meals, serving meals, cleaning up, setting up the stands, driving the equipment trucks, etc. Check the TIMB website for details.

Do I have to pay to go to the football games?
The football games cost $5 per person.

How will I know what time my student has to be at the school on game days?
Your student will be informed of a call time, usually 5:00pm. We advise your student arrive 15 minutes before their call time.

What time will my student be able to be picked up after football games?
Students will be available for pick up approximately 10 PM but can run later depending upon arrival time back at NHS.
