10/9/25 – Pink Out & NHS/SVMS Performance
The fall concerts were amazing on both Monday and Tuesday evening this week. A special thank you to Makiko – Tanabe-Kuang, the TIMB concert chair, and all the parent volunteers who helped volunteer at the concerts this week. All your help is sincerely appreciated.
THIS FRIDAY OCTOBER 10th – HOME GAME – PINK OUT & NHS/SVMS PERFORMANCE
– The game this Friday is the annual Pink Out Game in support of breast cancer awareness month so parents and families wear some pink along with your TIMB shirts and hoodies. TIMB has a special pink ribbon that all the Marching Band Students will wear on Friday.
– Additionally, we are excited to host the Sierra Vista Middle School Band this Friday in the first ever Northwood/SVMS Musical Extravaganza Bonanza Combined Football Game Performance! There will be close to 400 students performing!
Here are some additional details for our NHS families to make this a successful and fun evening!
Parents please remember that all TIMB volunteers need to purchase a ticket to enter the stadium to volunteer and/or watch the game. Tickets may be purchases online prior to the game at the link here. bit.ly/NHSTwolfTickets or purchased at the game using an electronic payment. Cash will not be accepted.
5:15 PM – Uniform Staff/Band Staff Begin Unloading Trucks
5:20 PM – Call time at Irvine High School.
Wear your band shirt, athletic shorts, black crew sock, dinkles. Hair needs to be up and out of your face. No Jewelry. Also, NO FACE PAINT/BODY PAINT FOR PINK OUT).
Bring your instrument, water, ALL Music and your lyre. We have the IHS gym to leave our cases in and to use to change into the uniforms.
5:30 PM – Change into uniforms as quickly as possible!!
5:30 – Rehearsal with Middle School Students as close to 5:30 as possible.
6:40 PM – Pre Game Performance with SVMS
7:00 PM Kick Off
Food provided by TIMB to the students after their performance.
9:45 PM – 10 PM approximately. Game should be over around 9:30 PM. Student will need to change out of their uniforms and load trucks. Please plan your pick up accordingly. Director approved pick up location is the front parking lot off Walnut.
TRUCK LOADING: If you have an open 8th period, we will be loading the trucks at that time. All Pit, Band Staff, Leadership, Drumline, Tubas & CG and anyone else with a kind heart who wants to help should attend (if you have an open 8th).
TRUCK UNLOADING: All Band Staff, Leadership, Drumline, Tubas & CG are required to attend. Anyone who needs to make up for tardies should also attend.

THANK YOU to the many generous families who have given time and money to support music! Over the years, the students of NHS have continued to benefit from the generosity of our parents and community. Donations to this program will help maintain the integrity of our outstanding program, as well as cover ongoing costs. First Football Game of the Season! AWAY GAME THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 22nd, NORTHWOOD VS. IRVINE at the IRVINE HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM. The NHS marching band will sit on the AWAY stand side. Students will NOT wear their marching band uniforms; see dress code below.
